Dustin A. Beatty works as the editor-in-chief and creative director of Anthem Magazine, a fashion and lifestyle publication based in Los Angeles. His earliest memories of motorcycles are actually his mother's; in fact, she still tells stories of him falling asleep on the tank of his father's Bultaco Pursang at 8 months old while riding through the California desert. She maintains to this day he was never dropped. The jury is still out on that, as he still obsessively rides on many Sundays, occasionally races desert and has a tendency to pack up his rally motorcycle and purposefully get lost somewhere between the forests of Canada and bowels of Baja. Between deadlines, he takes time to shoot a few personal projects, a favorite being The Wild Ride he photographs for Harley Davidson every spring. He currently splits time between his home in Los Angeles, New York and a few countries overseas.
