Just as I was starting to get over the guilt incurred from indulging in bit of extra curricular marine biology research, a stern whisper cascaded up from the image I was looking at, and said "stop being such an ****pussy and finish the front brake design already"...

Anneal, Shrink, Repeat

anneal
"Metallurgy" was originally coined by alchemists in an attempt to describe metal extraction from its ore. The term now applies to a much broader study of metals including extraction, production, processes, treatments, plating, and the deeper study of atomic structures in solids...

Fuzzy Logic

During the conception of new ideas, I always search for an elegant solution between absolutes, medians in binary 1 & 0, and find clarity in arriving at neither true, nor false. It can be as simple as the exploration of ideas through layers of velum, that seem to fog over one another until you press down firmly with the intent to reveal the hidden correlation and functional balance... There is a continuity in chaos and I'd much rather discover a new path through the unconventional, than cater to an accepted paradigm and therefore the status quo...

Framed

I've always liked the description of the word 'frame': to construct by fitting and uniting the parts of the skeleton of a structure. The alternative definitions apply equally to the construction of the White Falcon: to plan, contrive, shape, to give expression to, formulate, to draw up. My favorite is the Old English and Norse origin of the word 'fram': forward, to benefit, make progress., because it's consistent with my intent for Falcon: to evolve and grow the philosophy of designs I've loved since childhood...

Messages in Wood

aardcamaffe
I believe there are messages all around us and there are signs that we can choose to pay attention to or ignore. I try my best to maintain balance and limit myself from extrapolating meaning from every event, every suspiciously shaped cloud, or 11:11 mysteriously appearing on my phone again.   I know that there are forces at work that we can't yet comprehend and I've made peace with the fact that I may never understand what they are. What will drive me nuts is trying to figure out what divine life lesson I am supposed to learn from my aardcamaffe (aardvark camel giraffe, as pictured above) swallowing a giant block of metal?...
