Dark Matter

baffle
Whether or not there is an elegant universe consisting of 11 dimensions, our creation is an an inevitable result of scientific law, or a "creator" was responsible for that gravitational law... over 80% of the universe is made up of something we call dark matter for lack of a better term, or clearer understanding. I believe this is the rough equivalent of how much we actually know about the formation of an original idea...

Unijig

unijig
One of the first challenges I took on after finishing the Bullet and completing the move to the new shop was to make a solid frame jig. I hunted down plans for adjustable jigs constructed out of box tubing and poured through catalogs to find fixtures that I might be able to re-purpose. It became obvious fast that I would have to take matters in to my own hands, because nothing that existed already was going to fulfill the many requirements for the nine remaining motorcycles... I was going to need nine unique frame jigs...

Antenna

antenna
Maybe the answer to everything, or maybe a sketch on it's way into "nothing". The successful design ideas that I've been fortunate enough to follow through on are always far less critical than the disasters I avoided by abandoning the bad ones. It has to be a heartbreaking ego-less process at times, or else you might end up with a useless electric wine bottle opener, satellite antenna, like this one.

Gadzookery

torn
There is no definition for 'Bracketry' in the Merriam - Webster Dictionary but with all of the bracket making that goes on here, I feel like the craft of making a bracket should be right along side 'cabinetry', 'circuitry', and even 'gadzookery' (the use of archaisms)... Which remindith me, 'Brackets' is the new 'shucks'.  "Awww brackets"! saith Ian (forevermore)...

8am, Yokohama: we headed to the docks to meet up with our bikes for the first time since they left the States. Despite a couple stalls due to Ian not being able to feel his fingers on his broken throttle hand, riding through the streets of Yokohama to the convention center couldn't be more perfect:
