Dogfish Head Punkin Ale Motorcycle
The perfect gift from Rich's son Sebastian: like his Dad, he knows how to meld original elements from great things in a way that nobody else can, then create something totally new and fantastic. We can proudly say that Sebastian's Dogfish Head Punkin Ale motorcycle is the only theme bike that will ever be in a position of command over here and be allowed to oversee everything we do at Falcon.. continue reading
Shinya: Docklands Speed Shop
This is Shinya Ishigami, owner of Docklands Speed Shop in Kawasaki, Japan. The Mooneyes show was jam packed with custom builds of every imaginable kind. We chose Shinya's Triumph T100 sprint bike as the "Falcon Pick", because it embodies beauty in pure function. He moved to England in the Docklands area, where he lived for three years to race and modify this very special bike - every year, making it faster.
Today, we visited his shop where he builds, repairs and modifies British motorcycles in order to fuel his ultimate passion: going faster on this bike. He is hoping to break the 13 second, quarter-mile barrier in his next race in April - after hearing his bike rev past 8000rpm, I have no doubt that he will do just that. Check out more photos of his motorcycle and his shop here...

An Old Voice in the Ear
Mac McCowan on the 'Rattler' Vincent
Falcon blog post by Big Sid Biberman
While reading about the engine work being performed for the Black Falcon, I found myself remembering my old pal Mac McCowan. For a moment I closed my eyes and could see him and another friend Tommy McDermott in the back of Meridian Motors. My Rapide’s parts were spread out before us as we made ready to assemble the crank cases. continue reading
El Zun Zun Motorcycle
by Amaryllis
Justina, Dean and Matt at DicE magazine have been talking to us about this hummingbird motorcycle and it's owner Ryan, for months, saying we had to meet. He's a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Center for Tropical Research at UCLA, who specializes in biological phenomena, and how they help to shape the current patterns and genetic relationships among organisms... and who spray canned his '75 custom shovelhead heirloom white, and inked it with acrylic flowers and hummingbirds with his friend Jaime Chaves... continue reading

13 Rebels MC | The Real Wild Ones

by Jon Patrick of the Selvedge Yard
We're talkin' standup guys, not hoodlums-- former flyers and servicemen in WWII looking to keep the rush alive. They were solid citizens who loved the sport and brotherhood of riding-- accomplished racers, builders and all-around honorable guys... continue reading
Leader of The Pack: The Ton-up Vicar

One of the founders of the legendary 59 Club, The Reverend Bill Shergold (2nd to the right), died last month aged 89. Known as the "ton-up vicar", “FARV” or the "biker priest", Shergold famously ministered to hordes of young hot headed rockers, who used to tear around London’s North Circular on their Nortons, BSAs and Triumphs, intimidating the population at large and causing retired Captains to sputter up their gin...

Mike Taggart and Guy Webster's all new British Wing

Posted by: Danielle Danger Quinn
In keeping with the Falcon theme I wanted to do a piece solely focusing on Mike Taggart and Guy Webster's all new British Wing. Vintage Motorcycles are awesome, but admittedly I am no subject matter expert, so I asked my gramps, and namesake of the ride to the exhibition- Harry Quinn, for some of his input. After all, he was around when these things were new, and he tinkered with them back then, just like you all wrench on them now... continue reading
