Mark Gonzales Story
Posted by: Salman Agah
I really racked my brain for ideas regarding what I wanted to write about for my first blog post. I'm really a fan of things that are not forced and that manifest naturally. While on a trip to New York recently, my friend Mark Gonzales sent me a text message saying that he'd written a story about God. After reading the story, I thought that I'd share it as my first post...

Here's why... much like Ian's machines, which are functional works of art, The Gonz himself, as well as the things he's done and made, have been an inspiration to millions during his last 40 years here on earth. One word comes to mind when I think about Falcon and Mark; that word is ORIGINAL. Unlike Ian's works of art which are meticulously hand crafted, Mark's work is off-the-cuff, spontaneous, gross and unpolished. However, there is a common thread that weaves itself through both. That thread is ingenuity. In a homogenized world full of political correctness and group think, it's refreshing to know people that are doing things their own way. Thanks, guys!

Original: a primary form or type from which varieties are derived. An original work, writing, or the like, as opposed to any copy or imitation. A person whose ways of thinking or acting are original. An eccentric person. A source of being; an author or originator.
